Hustler Wisconsin via Sparta - Elroy Trail

Planned a pilgrimage Back to Hustler, Wisconsin sometime in March or April (one of those days while having a few beers) haven't been up there since 2005, was there July 4th weekend and Labor Day weekend 2005. Found this bar we really like and they seemed to like us.

Okay back to the start of the ride, we get to Sparta, WI around 6pm Thursday, stop at Wayside Inn for some supper and beer for the ride, they wasn't serving anything that sounded good so we went down the street to Club 16, remembered it from last time was there. Grabbed a steak sandwich and beer to go, Sparta doesn't sell beer in grocery or convenience stores only bars and liquor stores outside of city limits.

Rolled out of Sparta around 9pm, wanted to make to first tunnel around midnight, which in all fact is only 8 miles away a gentle grade up, after a couple stops to over look some of the houses down below we made to tunnel #3 which is 3/4 of a mile long.
