Good time at Sully's, started a self-destruct-tour @ 6am with Bloody Mary's then a couple of Beers, then on to Screwdrivers......... Stopped at Ladder 13 for a quick game of video golf couple more beers, Todd was driving by, came in, thought I recognized that bike, played one more game then home for a nap then back to Sully's for my 2 o'clock start work time. Will add photo's later, forgot camera at home.

Same Ride, Different Day

Almost the same ride as Wednesday, stop at the Carney Marsh for a safety break.

Only thing that was different today was, Squirrel was riding his towny.

Squirrel stopped at Casey's on N.E. 14th grabbed a couple of 16oz, I made to trestle bridge a couple minutes behind Squirrel............ I was on auto pilot, followed my normal route, Brian was waiting on Hull & Cornell, then realized I turned onto Douglas, that's why I was right behind him getting on trestle bridge. Seen Jimmy & Carol on Urbandale trail walking dogs, and Bagger Mary on 48 & Franklin, other than that uneventful ride home.

Made one small comment about the world and it came up to bite me in the ass hard. Wind was out of the SSE 14mph leaving work, after meeting up with Squirrel in Carney Marsh heading towards town into nice wind, wasn't to bad going east. After the Douglas - Euclid stretch through MLK to Urbandale trail to Beaver the wind thought it would be fun to switch to SSW, plan was already in place to ride to WDM Post Office grab mail.

Right now hit the bus downtown transfer to Ankeny Express, get to work around 6:45, makes for a long day............. love saving the money..... gas at $309.9 a gallon............. That SUCKS

Nice ride home, was going to stop for safety meeting at cemetary, it was across from a school how wrong is that.

So I stopped under the Interstate
Unadventful ride home, was tired needed a couple of safety breaks.........

Legs need to get back in the swing of riding.

Chilly ride in this morning

March 10th

Made it................ Finally got the bike out, loaded up the grocery bag headed for the bus stop @ Valley West Mall, bus was there around 5:45am 20 minutes later downtown to change to the Ankeny express, 6:45 @ work. One hour and fifteen minutes later than when driving.

Saved a couple dollars not having to buy gas which was $295.9 today as went by a couple of stations. Still wondering how the State is going to come back and bite me in the ass for saving a couple bucks or how they are going to add a special tax for riding a bus or bike.

Tired of the cold

Wanted to get out on bike, ride into work this morning.......

Just getting tired of being cooped up, no reasion I can't ride in the cold it's just I don't like taken the time to add all those extra clothes for cold weather riding

Have everything I need for cold weather riding except the will power to get out and do it...... March 3rd bike coming out of the backyard, riding atleast 3 days a week.

Winter Games

Greg and I rolled out of the shop Saturday morning around 7:30, Squirrel was building his Uncles Trike, Greg was driving motor home if we needed a place to stay warm, safety meetings, and cold beer. I drove cube van for advertising and haul Ski Bikes.

Nice little ride, home out to 74th in West Des Moines, coast into Coutry Club with a nice tail wind Squirrel was talking about riding the Clive Greenbelt trail, I told him it would be icey though out the trail, wanted to give me shit about not riding as much and if I was riding I might know what I was talking about.............
